What is liposuction?

Liposuction is a fat-reduction technique during which Dr. Polavarapu reduces excess fat from very specific areas of your body. It’s not a replacement for diet and exercise when it comes to weight loss, but it’s a strategy that can help slim down stubborn areas.

To perform the procedure, Dr. Polavarapu inserts a hollow tool, called a cannula, under the skin. A high-pressure vacuum attached to the cannula draws the fat away.
